Halloween Party!

Friday night the Bellevue Public Library hosted their annual Family Halloween Party!  We had a nice turn out and a lot of fun with crafts and games!  A special thank you to our wonderful Jr. Friends for their help and also the assistance of four additional adults.  Your help was invaluable!!  Here are some pictures of the after hours event!

HalloTween

The library hosted a special Halloween Party for our patrons in 5th through 8th grades!  Gordon cleverly named it HalloTween.  This is our 2nd year doing this program.  Here's information about last year's.

Here are pictures from the event...and a little info about the projects.

 Graveyard Pudding (Dirt pudding--chocolate pudding with whipped cream, crushed Oreos, tombstones made from vanilla wafer and icing...and don't forget the gummy worms!)

Mini Day of Dead Sugar Skulls to decorate with icing.

Bubble Slime (cornstarch and dish soap)






Poppets

Snacks!  Popcorn with M&Ms, candy corn, and pretzel M&Ms covered with vanilla almond bark!
