New!! Do It Yourslef Station

The children's department at the Bellevue Public Library is starting a "Do It Yourself" station.  This is a place for children and parents to stop by to do a simple project, craft, or game whenever they visit the library.  We understand that our scheduled programs do not (nor cannot) accommodate every family's schedule.  This is a way for every child to participate in a library program without worrying about if you can come on a certain day at a certain time.

Each month we will have a different theme and the activities will last through out the month.  October is National Pizza Month--so this will be our first station.  Come in to the library anytime this month to do any or all of the five activities available!

• Pizza Game (who can "build" their pizza first?)
• Pizza Puzzle
• Write a pizza poem
• Color your own pizza
• Vote for your favorite pizza

Be sure to let us know you participated by filling out a simple form.  Each time you do you will be entered into a drawing for a prize!!
