November third's theme is Monkeys. I found an adorable rhyming book: Monkey and Duck Quack Up! by Jennifer Hamburg with illustrations by Edwin Fotheringham. Monkey wants Duck to be his partner in a rhyming contest so they can win on a three-day cruise. Practice sessions with Duck, however, are less than successful. Children will have a fun time filling in the correct rhyming word, while giggling at Duck's repeated response. Will Monkey find a way to still win the rhyming contest?
