What if the Godmother in fairy tales was evil?

A clean fractured fairy tale for teens.

The Boys in the Boat (Young Readers Adaptation
by Daniel James Brown
An amazing story of perseverance, family, friendship, and trust.
Although I haven't read the full version, I enjoyed the Young Reader's Adaptation.  I felt there were enough details to not only tell the story, but convey the emotions and feelings of Joe and other members of the rowing crew.

Echo
by Pam Munoz Ryan
Audio

This is one book that has been on my "to read" list most of 2015.  I had started it once, but for some reason or another I didn't get too far into it.  So on this attempt I decided to listen it--which was an excellent idea because the audio version is amazing!
Four stories intertwined around a very special harmonica--a harmonica that choose its owner and changes that person's life.  It's amazing how all the stories come full circle.
