Today's theme is insects. I'm not a huge fan of bugs...but there certainly are a lot of cute bug books out there. Eric Carle's caterpillar, ladybug, click beetle, and firefly. Jack Tickle's lazy ladybug, greedy bee, and friendly firefly. There are also many fantastic non-fiction books about insects for young children.
But this one is probably my favorite picture book about insects to share with children:
