Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear

November's Do It Yourself Table will center on Teddy Bears!!  However, I'm a little confused about when National Teddy Bear Day officially is.  According to this site, it is November 14, 2013.  This is my "go to" calendar for events.  But then I found another calendar that said Teddy Bear Day was in September!  Either way, we're still celebrating this beloved toy!

Do it yourself activities this month:

1. Teddy Bear coloring sheets

2. Make your own colorful teddy bear (to take home or leave at the library to be hung on the bulletin board)

3.  Learn to draw a teddy bear

4. Go on a teddy bear scavenger hunt around the children's area of the library

5.  Later this week we will be setting up an area for a "teddy bear picnic".
