Oh, my!  How many wonderful books about dogs are out there!  Even  in the past two years there are have been hundreds of dog books published!  So it was a challenge to narrow my choice down to just one.  One Hundred Bones, by Yuval Zommer, captures a great dog story!  The main character is a dog without a name or collar or a human friend.  He is looked down upon by other dogs (and their owners) because of his love for digging.  However, when he finds a a stash of not one bone, but a hundred bones this little dog's life changes for the better!  This is definitely one I will be reading in storytime to my preschoolers!
