PBM--Food

Who can resist a picture book about food?  Makes me hungry just thinking about it!  Just like in Hungry Roscoe by David J. Plant.  I have successfully used this book in outreach storytimes.

Poor Roscoe Raccoon!  There is never much to eat in the city park except for left-over "rotten junk" found in the trash baskets.  But the animals in the nearby zoo are always well fed.  Can Roscoe convince the zookeeper he is one of the animals so he can get a nice meal for a change?

Question to ask children:  What other animals could Roscoe try to impersonate?  What objects would he use in the disguise?
